Boiler Water Treatment

ESC 2403 is a powerful dispersing agent and pH adjuster designed for use in closed circuit boilers or cooling systems where there are copper and copper alloys present. The polymeric action of the dispersing agent ensures mobilization of any sludge or deposited particles within the system. Correct pH adjustment ensures passivation of all metal surfaces against corrosion. ESC 2403 is excellent for use as a chemical cleaning and flushing agent. The advanced copper inhibitor will give complete protection to brass, bronze or any copper present.

Chemical dosage of ESC 2403 will depend upon each system requirement. The dosage should be maintained to elevate system pH above 9.0. Our technical representative can advise on each specific system requirement. Typically dosage of 1,0 to 1,5 litres per M3 of system volume will prove effective for pre-commissioning cleaning applications.

ESC 2403 can be dosed directly from the shipping container. ESC 2400 is best utilised by dosing with a proportional chemical dosing pump.

Although the specific dispersion polymers cannot be measured control of the system pH will ensure correct chemical balance is maintained.

Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes to prevent irritation. In the case of accidental contact flush the affected area with water and seek medical attention. The product should not be ingested. Please refer to the Materials Handling and Safety Data Sheets for handling and storage instructions.

ESC 2400 treatments are shipped in 25lt, 205lt and 1000lt non returnable containers.
