ESC 853N

Boiler Water Treatment

ESC 853N is a single product high performance replacement for conventional water treatment products utilised in medium and high pressure boiler systems. ESC 853N is based on MEA [Monoethanolamine], Cyclohexylamine and 2 fatty amine film formers.

Due to the mechanism of reaction scale formation and corrosion are totally eliminated from the steam and condensate system. Heat transfer is often improved due to the breakdown and control of haematite growth.

Chemical dosage of ESC 853N will depend upon each system requirement. The dosage should be maintained at 5 ppm of amine in the condensate return. Our technical representative can advise on each specific system requirement.

ESC 853N can be dosed directly from the shipping container. ESC 853N is best utilised by dosing with a proportional chemical dosing pump.

Test kits are available to control reserves of the chemical within the system.

Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes to prevent irritation. In the case of accidental contact flush the affected area with water and seek medical attention. The product should not be ingested. Please refer to the Materials Handling and Safety Data Sheets for handling and storage instructions.

An ESC Global field representative will work closely with our customer personnel to ensure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Qualified personnel will provide regular service calls.

ESC 853N treatments are shipped in 25lt, 205lt and 1000lt non returnable containers.
