ESC DS-1

Scale Control Product

ESC DS-1 is an inhibited acid based product designed for the elimination of Calcium Carbonate scale from hot and cold and open or closed circuits.

The system to be de-scaled should be drained and any loose material should be removed prior to the treatment. The vessel should be refilled with clean water and then ESC DS-1 should be added at sufficient volume to reduce the pH to below 2.0. If possible heating and circulation of system water should take place.

Further ESC DS-1 should be added if pH elevation occurs [above2.0]. When the pH has held at 2.0 or below for a period of 30 minutes or more and all reaction appears to have ceased all Calcium Carbonate should have been removed from the system.

The system should then be drained and flushed through with clean water until all traces of the acidic product have been removed. The system should then be filled with suitable water as per normal running

Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes to prevent irritation. In the case of accidental contact flush the affected area with water and seek medical attention. The product should not be ingested. Please refer to the Materials Handling and Safety Data Sheets for handling and storage instructions.

An ESC Global field representative will work closely with our customer personnel to ensure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Qualified personnel will provide regular service calls.

ESC DS-1 treatments are shipped in 25lt, 205lt and 1000lt non returnable containers.
