Boiler Water Treatment

ESC R46L is a convenient to use liquid oxygen scavenger recommended for the complete removal of oxygen from de aerator heaters, feed water storage areas, feed water lines, condensate return lines, boiler internals and closed re circulating water systems. It is particularly effective at low dose rates where traditional oxygen scavengers such as sulphite or nitrate cannot be utilised.

60 ppm of ESC R46L are required for each ppm of dissolved oxygen present. Our representative will provide directions for use in accordance with each particular system requirements.

ESC R46L liquid may be fed directly from the shipping container or diluted with clean condensate in a chemical mix tank. Minimum agitation is suggested to prevent premature activation of the oxygen scavenger.

ESC R46L is controlled by maintaining an excess [in parts per billion] of oxygen scavenger in the system. A standard test method is available from our technical team.

Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. This product should be handled in accordance with the material safety data sheets which will be issued to all users at the time of order placement. Please refer to the Materials Handling and Safety Data Sheets for handling and storage instructions.

An ESC Global filed representative will work closely with our customer personnel to ensure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Qualified personnel will provide regular service calls.

ESC R46L treatments are shipped in 25lt, 205lt and 1000lt non returnable containers.
