Chlorine Dioxide Precursor

Chlorine Dioxide is one of the most powerful and effective oxidising biocides available on the market today. At lower levels [maximum 0.5 ppm] Chlorine Dioxide can be used in potable water to give exceptional sterilisation. At normal sterilisation levels for cooling water systems, food factory floors and work surfaces etc. Eschlor Diox A9 and B9 combination will give the most effective kill rate of algae, fungi and bacteria.

Chlorine Dioxide solutions can be generated on site at the point of use by using the ESC €2 pack€ system. Chlorine Dioxide is produced in a C1O2 generator by mixing Eschlor Diox A9 and B9 together in a 1:1 ratio. Eschlor Diox A9 can be used on its own in acidic waters or when rapid bacterial growth is occurring and will efficiently kill all bacteria present.

Eschlor Diox A9 is generally too strong for manual mixing and should only be used chlorine dioxide generator to produce the correct dosage automatically. If manual mixing of Eschlor Diox A9 and B9 must be carried out care should be taken to mix the constituents in a well ventilated area and to wear suitable Chlorine Dioxide breathing apparatus.

A mix of 500ml of Eschlor A9 and 500ml of B9 in 10lts of water will give a strength of 4000 ppm of Chlorine Dioxide solution.

Specialist Chlorine Dioxide generator should be utilised.

Eschlor Diox A9 should be stored separately from Eschlor Diox B9 and any other acidic material. Please refer to the MSDS sheet before use and always wear suitable protective equipment.

An ESC Global field representative will work closely with our customer personnel to ensure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Qualified personnel will provide regular service calls.

Eschlor Diox A9 and B9 treatments are shipped in 5lt, 25lt and 200lt non returnable containers.
