ESCIDE 60L

Biocide Treatment

ESCIDE 60L is based upon Tetra Kis Phosphenium Sulphate [THPS] and has one of the best environmental profiles of any biocide on the market today. THPS is extremely effective a wide range of micro-organisms including algae, fungi and bacteria.

ESCIDE 60L has a good efficacy against Legionella Pneumophila with zero surviving bacteria after 3 hours at a dose rate of 200 ppm. This is based on dosing a clean system with retention times calculated and adjusted.

The following doses may be applied:

SRB€s: 200 ppm [6 hours]

Algae: 200 ppm

General Aerobic: 200 ppm [6 hours]

Legionella Pneumophila: 100 ppm [6 hours]

The dosage of ESCIDE 60L is proportional to the amount and type of infestation and the volume of the cooling water system. Initial doses on dirty systems should be doubled for quick and efficient kill rates. ESC technical personnel will advise the most effective dosing method for each application.

The formulation may be fed directly from the shipping containers in direct proportion to the quantity of the make-up, or slug dosed on a weekly basis. ESCIDE 60L may be pre diluted in mix tank systems on a pumped system to enable a more accurate feed rate.

Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and clothing. In the case of accidental contact immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water. For the eyes wash flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention. The product is harmful if ingested. Please refer to the Materials Handling and Safety Data Sheets for handling and storage instructions.

An ESC Global field representative will work closely with our customer personnel to ensure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Qualified personnel will provide regular service calls.

ESCIDE 60L treatments are shipped in 25lt and 200lt non returnable containers.
