ESC Global are proud to support Stuart Dixon whose Jaguar XK is helping to raise valuable funds for the children’s hospice Bluebell Wood. The eye-catching car is the talk of the town with its purple livery matching the charity’s colour and sponsored stickers, all raising money for the charity.
Stuart, who will be taking his car to shows around the country over the next few months, has been given the blessing of Bluebell Wood families to include names of children and young adults supported by Bluebell Wood on the car.
Stuart said “I’ve been fundraising for about 20 years and sharing it between eight charities, one of which is Bluebell Wood. When I decided to raise money by showing my cars, I chose just one charity and thought less fortunate children should be number one.
Stuart has been taking his cars to county shows, country fairs and classic car days around the country, thanks to the help of several drivers and their families. People can ride in the cars at some shows in return for a minimum£50 donation to Bluebell Wood.
The idea to add the children’s names on the Jaguar showcases the families and children the hospice supports. Covering the car in coloured sponsored stickers, which donators have signed and stuck on themselves raises further funds for the charity. Stuart says the feedback has been fabulous.
This is a wonderful way to raise money for a great cause, and everyone at ESC Global Ltd wishes Stuart good luck on raising funds with his eye-catching car as we and others continue sponsoring the Bluebell Wood Hospice.
